It's 1:35am. Christmas. The snow is falling so ever gently. I turn my head and look out to the frost – tinted window. It's dark outside, and I'm alone in this one room. The empty room is warm from the brilliant fire flickering to my right. The maple hardwood floor makes a harsh chill shiver up my spine, as it has not accepted the invitation to the heat. A Frozen Forgetfulness. A cold wind sweeps over my forsaken body. I have never felt this happy! When will I ever feel this sad? Snow crystallizes, from its bountiful skies. My soul always dies. They left me, didn't they? They always do. I can't blame them, it's snowing here. They leave for the warmer skies; long too forgotten. The snow creates mountains; a barrier. I lay here, alone and forgotten. Cold. Frozen. The strangers; they come. Pitied. Memorialized. Then abandoned; all is lost. They all once visited my frozen carcass. Covered in snow. Even the thoughts of my own mind have left me. I asked. They ignore. The snow ke
